What are the ongoing costs?: $49/month includes core software upgrades, plugin, theme and security updates, server maintenance and backups.

Am I locked to Mousebuilt in any way? (Important): Moving away from Mousebuilt can be more difficult than from other hosting because we rely on in-house, custom-coded themes and plugins for optimisation. If you ever decide to move elsewhere, we have an easy-to-follow guide on exporting your website content and media files to make the process as smooth as possible. We’ll even look after the whole migration process, to any host with a Cpanel for $249 if you prefer. Please note, we do not supply the Mousebuilt theme or custom plugins, so your newly migrated site will have a new theme and therefore need some adjustment, which is not included in the above migration package.
Will the website load quickly?: Blazingly fast. I have obsessed over website loading speed for more than 20 years. In that time, I have seen the median web page size grow by more than 5,000% in size. In 1998, I was infuriated by web pages that downloaded 200KB of data. Now, the average web page is over 2,000KB. Honestly, don’t get me started! This page is about 100KB, in case you were wondering.
Will my website follow latest standards?: Yes. It even meets future standards! Mousebuilt sites are constantly upgraded. No need to buy another website in 3 years from now.
Will my website be mobile friendly?: Of course – it’s 2024! All websites are developed from a mobile-first perspective. Be wary of any web developer that promotes mobile friendliness as an “added bonus”.
Who will build my website?: I (Karl) have been building websites since 1997, just 6 years after the World Wide Web was launched. I am Google Analytics certified and have had a WordPress theme accepted into the official repository.
Can I BYO WordPress website: You can export your existing content, then import that into Mousebuilt. Each page of your site will then need to be restructured with the built-in, easy-to-use page builder. Alternatively, buy a new website and have us insert your current content.
